“Escape For Democracy” promotes active citizenship in youngsters through our modern world of technology. We aim to share our knowledge on European values and democratic participation through a fun and innovative way. We will create an open source e-platform website, which will hold research, news, a handbook and most importantly, 3 digital escape rooms. They will be made so as to showcase scenarios, promoting citizenship education, teaching EU values, explaining the principles of unity and diversity, as well as showing and promoting EUs social, cultural and historical heritage via the escape rooms.
Results
Practical: The project will deliver three escape rooms, a handbook and supporting media (i.e. research) Overall: Our larger aim is to facilitate the learning process of youngsters regarding democratic participation and active citizenship through creating and using an innovative digital tool, which is designed to interest the new generation.
